Texas Hill Country Invitational Art Show and Sale and The Copper Dragonfly

These are two of my recent painting. The sunset was painted from a picture I took one evening coming into my neighborhood with my cell phone. The sunsets were incredible!

The agave is also from a picture taken on a walk in my neighbohood.  Great place to live!

This cute little house is showing my artwork!  It's  Boerne's Copper Dragonfly on 806 River Road.  It's a unique Bohemian boutique owned by Denise and Jim Filer. They have beautiful clothes, jewelry, my son Hunter's woodworking and birdhouses, candles and other "unique" goodies. Stop on by Weds. through Sunday.  Fun place to shop!

2nd Annual Old Town Helotes Fine Art and Wine Tasting

Please come join us for our second annual Fine Art Show in Helotes, right across from Flores Country Store in The Gardens at Old Town Helotes, 15060 Antonio Dr.   Saturday, Aug. 18 from 10 - 8, Sunday Aug. 19 from12-5 and wine tasting  and HorsD'oeuvres from Bending Branch Winery on Saturday from 4-8.  It was an awesome show last year and we are expecting even better this year.

16th Annual Boerne Parade of Artists

Come on out to the beautiful Texas Hill Country for the Parade of Artists. I will be at the Burlap Horse at 609 S. Main Street showing my pastels. arcylics, prints and cards!

It's a great weekend of Art from Friday evening through Saturday and Sunday.  It's also 2nd Saturday and lots of stores will be open....many providing wine and appetizers!  Great fun!

The BCT is a wonderful theatre that has quite a few productions a year.  Each time they showcase an artist and hopefully sell some art in which a donation goes to the BCT. My art  was hung this past Friday for their production "The Orphans".  If you have time, stop by and see the art, and especially go to the show!  I hear it's wonderful! It continues through February 11.

Alamo Birdhouses, and Gruene Hall Bird Houses in his spare time, mostly with recyled materials.

They are great additions to your yard and the birds flock to them.

The Alamo has double quarters for those little birdies that want separate rooms. They  are made of cedar and mosaic stone  in the front. They measure 14 inches across, 5 inches high and 9 inches deep.  $65.

The Gruene Hall is made of cedar and has  plexiglass windows for you to peek through. The LED lights turn on at night and recharges the battery during the day through solar power!  You can even open the back of the house and clean on cleaning day!  With all the lights and extras, Gruene sells for $80.

Haus of Antiquities and Old Town Helotes Fine Art Show and Sale

 I am excited to announce that I will by showing my art in the Haus of Antiquites in New Braunfels. The house/galley is run by Ben and Allison Guenther, a darling young couple who are so talented in so many ways!!   Here is a quote that will be running on the radio about their new shop.

Boerne Parade of Art This Weekend

Most of you know that Boerne is a gem in the Texas Hill Country! This weekend makes it even more special with the once a year Parade of Art,  2nd Saturday, and the Boerne Market Days.

 The self guided tour for the Parade starts Friday night from 6-9; Saturday from 10 - 8 with the Taste of Boerne at some of the venues from 4 - 8; and Sunday from 11 - 5.   I will be at the Rusty Bucket, a wonderful store on Main Street, and the delicious restaurant, Tin Roof, will be providing some samples for the "Taste". 

You can walk during your tour to the various venues, or take the trolley!  What fun to see beautiful downtown Boerne, drink some wine, and see fabulous art! 

I will have some of my Texas themed art, roosters and chickens, as well as prints and cards.
